Membership

2B1ASK1 — a man must ask.

Freemasonry does not solicit. The first step toward membership has, for centuries, been the same: a man of his own free will asks.

The Path

  1. 01

    Ask

Reach out to the lodge through the contact page. The first conversation is unhurried, in person where possible, with no obligation on either side.

  2. 02

    Meet the Brethren

Share a meal with us at a stated-meeting dinner. Listen to the men, see the hall, and decide whether the work of the craft is something you want to take up.

  3. 03

    Petition

When you are ready, submit a formal petition signed by two members of the lodge. A committee of brethren will visit with you and your family.

  4. 04

    Ballot & Initiation

The brethren ballot on your petition in stated meeting. If favorably received, you will be initiated, passed, and raised through the three degrees of the craft over the months that follow.

Ready to ask?

A brief, confidential message to the lodge secretary is enough. There is no form to fill, no fee to pay, and no expectation attached.
